Happy Father's Day
We have shared many memories through the years together. What a blessing to have a great husband and father for our kids. Both Rick and I feel fortunate to have had wonderful fathers who were faithful to God, wife, and family and good examples to follow. Our time together is less often, but our love is greater. gail

Ditch Digging and Muck-Muck
We did a lot of different things at Crowleys Ridge College the last two weeks but I excelled at one. Ditch digging! A local Christian brother volunteered his digging machine but there was plenty of opportunity to use a shovel to cross over existing cables and phone lines. It is really amazing how dirty you can get digging in red dirt four feet down in a 8 inch wide ditch!
Gail excelled at cleaning dorm room walls and painting them. She says it is amazing how much food and general muck-muck college kids can manage to get on their dorm room walls! She and her friends painted and planted flowers in a large planter at the entrance to the college on the last day. Sure looked nice. Overall we had a great time meeting new friends and just helping out the school.

Russ and Rosemary Burcham
Last weekend we visited with our friends Russ and Rosemary Burcham who live in Kennett Missouri. Paragould Ar. Is only a thirty minute drive from Kennett so we decided to visit with them on Sunday morning and attend worship services with them. Their preacher is Spencer Furby who served with Gail’s dad as an intern years ago. It was great to get reacquainted with Spencer and their whole friendly church family!
Russ and Rosemary stayed with us on the Ship of Life longer than any other guest we had. Russ is a dentist and he helped me tremendously. Rosemary can do everything and was a great help to us also. They drove over to the college where we were working last week to video and interview several of the SoJourners about the work we do. They have been doing a weekly cable show for 35 years! Imagine that!
